Description
Chadlington Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse built from coursed limestone rubble with squared dressings and a Stonesfield-slate roof featuring ashlar stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys plus an attic set on a semi-basement. The front of the main range includes a wing that projects from the right side. On the first floor, there are two tall casement windows, while the ground floor features a central doorway, a similar window to the right, and a smaller window to the left. Both sides of the wing and the rear of the main range have additional tall windows. The cellars contain three 3-light stone-mullioned windows, one of which is inscribed "DAIRYY." The steep-pitched roof is topped with three stacks that have plinths and caps, with one stack aligned with the main entrance. To the left, there is a single-storey service range. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse forms a close group with the farm buildings to the east.
