Description
Frank Williams Antiques is a house with a shop front that dates from the 18th century, featuring a front that partly overlays the cornice of the house to the north. The building is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and has a large triple brick chimney. It has glazing-bar sash windows set in raised flat architraves. The projecting shop front, which dates from around 1870, may cover an earlier design and includes readed pilasters, an ashlar plinth, and a right-hand block on the plinth that contains a cellar window. The house door, located to the left under a projection, has four flush panels. The interior has been altered but retains a mid-18th century edge ovolo surround fireplace on the ground floor front. At the rear, there is a two-storey, five-bay wing.
