Description

The Kench Tomb, located about 17 yards north of the Church of St Mary in Shipton-under-Wychwood, is a chest tomb dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar and features panelled sides, corner balusters, and a moulded capping. The tomb commemorates Mrs. Mary Kench, who died in 1795.
