Description

This barn, located approximately 30 meters east of Southfield Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and has a roof made of corrugated asbestos and Welsh slate. The barn features a four-bay plan, with an entrance to the left of the center, lower opposed rear doors, and several "candle" slits. The gables are topped with parapets. Inside, there are butt-purlin trusses, apex yokes, and ridge purlins.
