Description
This barn, located 15 yards north of Court Farmhouse in Shipton-under-Wychwood, is likely from around 1700 and has been restored. It is constructed from coursed rubble with freestone quoins and features a Cotswold stone roof with coped verges. The barn has five bays and a central entry on the west side, with two long slit vents on either side, each having common wooden lintels; the left-hand slits are transomed. There is a drip string above the vents and a louvred window on each side above that. To the east, there is a projecting gabled entry flanked by catslides. The gable ends have triangular vents at the top and long transomed vents.
