SHIPTON-UNDER-WYCHWOOD HIGH STREET SP 2617-2717 (east side) 7/61 Stone boundary wall from Ayton to north-east - corner of Shipton Court Gardens GV II Including gates and gatepiers on return to east. Boundary wall, gates and gatepiers. Circa 1903-06, Perkins and Bulmer design; the north-west part okf the wall is probably C18, see brick lining. Tall rubble wall. mostly in coursed stone but also with snecked patches; about 12-15 ft high, ramped down to late C20 breach roughly central. Angled in centre. Ashlar gatepiers in return to east with ball finials and framing cast- and wrought- iron gates of good C18 pattern.
