Description
Nos 9 and 10 Church Street are two attached houses located on the corner of Church Street and Ascott Road in Shipton-under-Wychwood. They date from the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and feature ashlar chimneys. No 9 has a cornice, while No 10 is made of brick.
Both houses are two-and-a-half storeys tall and have one central gabled dormer. Each house has two windows with glazing bar sashes, and No 10 includes keystones above its windows. No 9 features a lodged door, whereas No 10 has a part-glazed panelled door, both with shallow pitched open gable hoods above.
