Description
This former wool loft or barn, dating from the 18th century, is located adjoining number 115 on the southeast side of High Street and Signet in Boreford and Upton. The building has been restored and features rubble walls topped with a Cotswold stone roof and a brick chimney on the west side. It stands two storeys high and consists of five bays with irregularly placed windows. The outer windows on the first floor are four-light wood mullioned, while the ground floor has two-light windows with voussoirs. Tall, large seven-light windows flank the loft entry and are positioned immediately below it. There are two doors, including a stable door to the right of centre. To the left of centre on the ground floor, there is a two-light wood mullion window with hollow chamfer mouldings.
