Description

This chest tomb, located about 4 yards west of the Old Prebend in Shipton-under-Wychwood, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features panelled sides, quarter corner balusters, and a moulded capping. The inscription on the tomb is difficult to read, but the date 1816 is legible.
