Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 10 meters north-northwest of Wootton Place, dates back to 1830, as indicated by the datestone in the gable end. Originally serving as a traphouse, saddler's room, and bierhouse, it is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The building is a single storey with timber lintels above two plank doors and a two-light leaded casement window. Additionally, 20th-century garage doors have been added to the front of the former two-bay open-fronted traphouse on the right. Inside, there is a butt-purlin roof. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
