Description

Little Well Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with a brick stack. The original layout of the house is not clearly defined. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a two-window range. There is a timber lintel above a central 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century thatched porch. The windows are 20th-century two-light casements with a segmental brick arch and a concrete lintel, also found in the half-dormers. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a stack at the left gable end. The interior was remodeled in the late 20th century. The cottage is included for its group value.
