Description

This is a row of cottages, likely dating to the late 18th century, with alterations and an extension added in the late 19th century. The cottages are constructed from squared and coursed limestone with a stone slate roof. They feature brick stacks from the 20th century. The row has two storeys and a three-window front. There are timber lintels over 20th-century doors, which have gabled porches. The first floor has 20th-century casement windows, and two ground-floor windows have label moulds over late 19th-century cross windows. The roof is gabled, with urns on the coping, and includes ridge stacks. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear and to the left. The interior was remodelled in the 20th century. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
