Description

The Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century, with some alterations made to the roof in the 20th century. It features light timber-framing with painted brick infill on the first floor and has an old plain-tile roof. The building has a brick stack on the left side and is arranged as a two-storey, two-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door. On the ground floor, there are four-pane horned sash windows on both the left and right sides, while the first floor has horizontal sash windows on the left and right. On the right side facing the street, there is a two-storey bay window with a jettied roof above. The interior has not been inspected.
