Description

No. 57 The Causeway is a house that likely dates from the early 17th century. It features a rendered plinth and render that is probably applied to timber-framing, topped with an old plain-tile roof. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. To the left, there is a six-panel part-glazed door with a flat hood supported by brackets. The windows consist of three-light casements located at the left of centre, right of centre, and to the right. There are cross-gables on both the left and right sides, each adorned with dentilled wood bargeboards and finials. The interior has not been inspected.
