Description
The Co-op Community Store is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling, likely dating from the early 17th century. It features a single-storey addition to the front and various alterations from the 20th century. The addition is rendered on brick, while the main structure is rendered, probably over timber framing. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a central brick ridge stack, with another ridge stack to the right.
The building has a two-storey, three-window range. The right side has a 20th-century shop front with a door in the center. To the left of the center is a garage door, and there is a 20th-century door to the left. The first floor has three-light 20th-century metal casements in the center and to the right, along with cross-gables. On the left, there is a flat-roofed half-dormer with two 20th-century two-light casements. The ground floor has been opened up to create the shop space. The building is included for its group value.
