Description

Kiln Cottages is an early 19th-century, two-storey building constructed from rubble stone and topped with a stone-tiled roof. It features overhanging eaves and a gable with barge boards, along with brick ridge stacks. The front has a two-window arrangement of stone mullioned windows and a projecting porch that includes a Tudor arched doorway. There is a modern addition at the rear. Attached to the south is a lower two-storey range with three windows, brick window sides, and one ridge stack. The cottages are historically associated with a 19th-century brick and tile works that is no longer in existence.
