Description

The gate piers and railings to Hill Side, located at No. 79 on London Street in Great Faringdon, are likely from the early 19th century. The structure features four stone gate piers that have a square plan, cornices, and pyramid block caps. The shafts of the piers are decorated with an incised pattern, which consists of rectangles with rebated corners. The railings and gates are made of cast iron and are designed with spear head motifs.
