Description

The Firs is a mid-19th century alteration of a likely earlier 18th-century house located on the north side of London Street in Great Faringdon. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features two stories with a slate roof and two gabled dormers. It has brick end wall stacks and a four-window range of 19th-century sash windows, each with plain three-piece stone window heads. The entrance includes a door with a hood supported by brackets and a round arched barred fanlight above.
