Description

The Laurels is an early 19th-century house with a chequered brick front. It stands three stories tall and features a coped stone parapet. The house has end wall stacks and a three-window range of glazing bar sash windows, each set in cambered head surrounds. The central door consists of six flush panels and is topped by a fine metal traceried rectangular fanlight, with a hood supported on brackets. The east end wall is made of rubble, while the brick gabled rear, also in chequered brick, is dated 1826.
