Description

Hill Cottage is an early 19th century house built of rubble stone with brick dressings. It features a stone tiled roof and brick stacks at the end walls. The building stands two and a half storeys high and has a three-window range, with broad glazing bar sash windows on the outer sides and smaller half-size sashes on the top storey. There is a central smaller glazing bar sash window on the first floor, with a hipped attic half-dormer above it. Additionally, there are one dummy window on the first floor and one on the second floor. The central entrance has a six-panel door with an arched head and a metal barred fanlight above, supported by a flat hood on brackets.
