Description
This granary, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 15 meters east of Furzewick Farmhouse, which is not included in this listing. The structure is built of Flemish bond brick with flared headers and is partly colourwashed, topped with an old tile roof. It is two storeys high and features a one-window range. On the exterior, segmental arched openings flank the stairs leading to the raised floor, with a segmental arch over a 20th-century plank door and a similar loft door above. These are flanked by narrow openings that have 20th-century louvres. The granary also has dentilled eaves and a hipped roof. Inside, there are old grain bins and a two-bay queen-post roof.
