Description

Cutts End Cottage is a house dating to the late 17th or early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof and brick end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic. Originally, it had a two-window front arrangement featuring wooden cross windows with leaded lights, set within flat stone arches. A central door is present with an overlight above. Two two-light dormers light the attic. A gabled stair turret extends to the rear, with lean-to additions on either side, the main roof continuing over them as a catslide. Further leaded casement windows are present. The interior contains chamfered spine beams and a winder stair. Cutts End House, attached to the left, is not of group value.
