Description

A farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, situated on Leys Road, Cumnor. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with the central bay built of mid-18th century random bond brick. It has a gabled roof covered in stone slates, and brick stacks at each end. The farmhouse is arranged in an L-shape, with a wing to the rear right. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window facade. A 20th-century stone porch shelters the front door. The ground floor windows are two-light casements with timber lintels, while the first-floor windows are similar casements with flat brick arches above. A 20th-century gabled roof dormer provides attic access. The rear wing is constructed of similar materials and is also two storeys high with a two-window range. The rear of the property and the interior have not been inspected but are considered likely to contain features of interest. The building is included on the list primarily for its group value.
