Description
The Grove is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 18th century. It features a stone coursed rubble plinth and red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond, topped with a plain-tile hipped roof and brick lateral stacks at the rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door at the center, which includes an overlight and a 20th-century gabled hood supported by brackets. All openings have 2-light casements, with the ground floor windows featuring segmental brick heads. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors, sweeping over the hood of the central door. The house has three hipped full dormers, each with 2-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
