Description
No. 24 Milton Lane is a house that was formerly part of a barn. The barn dates back to the 16th century, and part of it was converted into a house in the 19th century, while the rest of the barn was burnt down around 1945. The building is constructed of red brick and features a thatched half-hipped roof with a brick ridge stack at the center. It is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. The ground floor has 16-pane unhorned sash windows on the left and right, with a single-pane casement window in the center. There are swept dormers on the left and right, each with horizontal sashes. To the left, there is a plank door leading to a 20th-century addition. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to contain cruck trusses.
