Description

This is an 18th-century range of three cottages on the north side of Shrivenham High Street. The building is constructed of colourwashed rubble stone and brick, with a gabled thatched roof. A brick stack is located at the west end, and another is on the ridge. The cottages are one storey high with an attic.

Number 44 has a roadside facade with one eyebrow dormer featuring three leaded lights. There are two ground floor windows; one is a 19th-century sash window with three leaded lights, and the other is a 20th-century window of two lights, replacing a former doorway. Numbers 46 and 48 each have a single bay with similar 19th-century fenestration and plank doors, all set under cambered heads.
