Description

Ivy House is an early 19th-century house on the south side of Shrivenham High Street, originally a three-bay structure with a later one-bay addition to the west. The house is constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings and quoins, and has a gabled roof covered in stone tiles, with three brick stacks. The north-facing facade displays the original three bays, and includes a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight featuring diamond patterning, located centrally. The upper windows are generally three-light casements with eight panes of glass, except for one two-light casement above the door. The ground floor windows are similarly styled.
