Description
No. 14 Mill Street is a house that has been converted into a restaurant. It dates from the 17th century, with a ground floor that was stuccoed in the 19th century and a first floor made of 19th-century brick. The right side wall is rendered and colour washed. The building features an old tiled roof and a 20th-century brick chimney stack. It has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a single window range. The entrance and window on the ground floor are from the 20th century, while the first floor has a late 18th-century sash window. The roof is gabled and has a stack at the gable end. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped beams along with plain joists on the ground floor, and a quarter-turn staircase. Access to the attic is not available.
