Description

Poplars is a house dating from the early 18th century, located on the north side of Church Street in East Hendred. The building is roughcast, possibly over timber framing, and features an old plain-tile roof with a brick end stack on the left side. It is two stories high and has a two-window range. There is a 19th-century part-glazed door to the left of center, which is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets. To the right, there is a plank door. The house also has 19th-century angled oriel bay windows with flat roofs on either side of the center door, and the first floor features three-light wood casements. The interior has not been inspected.
