Description
Church Place is a rectory that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century, and possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is constructed of red brick with a slate hipped roof and features brick end stacks. The building is three stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door flanked by lights and decorative fanlights with segmental heads. On either side of the entrance, there are tripartite unhorned sashes with glazing bars, also having segmental brick heads. The first floor contains 12-pane sashes, while the second floor has 6-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected, but there may be a 17th-century portion to the left of a two-story, single-bay range.
