Description

This milestone, located approximately 500 meters north of Lobb Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of limestone and has a circular plan that tapers slightly, topped with a dome. The north face of the stone features an inscription that reads: L0i100N/44/0XF0R0/10. This road was turnpiked in 1719 by the Stokenchurch and Enslow Trust.
