Description
Garden Close is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and is colourwashed, featuring an old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The house has a central-stair plan and stands two storeys high. The front has two windows, with a central six-panel door located beneath a 20th-century tiled porch. This door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, all set under brick segmental arches. On the first floor, there are two similar windows positioned under flat arches. To the left, there is a gable outshut that has been raised and altered in the 20th century, and there is a stack on the right gable. A rear wing is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
