Description
Hayesmoor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century and later. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble with timber lintels, featuring a plain-tile roof and a brick ridge stack. The building has a three-unit plan and is one storey plus attics. The entrance front, which has three windows, is located to the left and includes a four-panel door set in a 20th-century tiled porch to the right of centre, with two-light casements in each bay. There are three 20th-century dormers, and the roof has likely been rebuilt. The gable wall facing the road is plain, and there are additional casement dormers and a 20th-century outshut to the right. Inside, the front two bays are likely older and contain the lower part of a cruck frame.
