Description
Sunnybank House is a late 18th-century house located on the east side of Lower End, Great Milton. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a concrete tile roof with brick gable stacks. It follows a double-depth plan.
The front facade has two storeys and three windows, featuring sashes with 16 and 20 panes. The centrally positioned doorway has a 20th-century door and architrave. All windows and the doorway are set within flat stone arches. Large ashlar quoins and a stone eaves cove are prominent architectural features. A blocked doorway is located to the right of the main entrance, and a cellar window sits to the right of that. The right gable wall contains small, two-light casements. The rear of the property features mostly blocked or altered openings. A 20th-century one-storey extension has been added to the rear.
