Description

Tanners Cottage is a small house dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with brick dressings and features an old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus attics. The front has two windows and a central plank door situated between three-light casements, all of which are topped with brick segmental arches and have quoins. There are two gabled dormers with two-light windows and two additional windows for the cellars. At the back, there is a single-storey rear wing. The interior has not been inspected.
