Description

Sunnybank Cottage is a small house built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features timber lintels, topped by an old plain-tile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey plus attics. The front facade has two windows and a central plank door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century tiled canopy, situated between three-light casements. There are also two-light gabled dormers. At the rear, there is a two-bay wing that rises to two storeys and includes 18th-century leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected.
