Description
Connells is a townhouse that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It dates from the mid-18th century and features a late 20th-century shop front. The building is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and has an old plain-tile hipped roof, although the chimney stacks are not visible. It is three stories tall and has a two-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century plate-glass shop front with glazed doors on the left. The first and second floors each have 12-pane unhorned sash windows with segmental brick heads. There is a flat brick band between the first and second floors, as well as a flat brick band at the base of the plain parapet. The interior contains a 20th-century shop on the ground floor.
