Description
Savory and Moore, Chemists is a townhouse that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It likely dates from the early 19th century, with a shop front and alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings, and features brick end stacks. It is three stories tall and has a three-window range. The late 20th-century plate-glass shop front includes glazed doors in the center, with a separate door to the left. There is a fascia board between the ground and first floors. The first and second floors have sash windows without glazing bars, which feature cambered brick heads. A flush brick band runs along the base of the plain parapet. The interior has a 20th-century shop on the ground floor that has been opened up at the rear. This building is included for its group value.
