Description
Roubartelle Abbas is a house dating from the 17th century, located on the north side of High Street in Clifton Hampden. The building features painted uncoursed stone rubble at the plinth on the left, large timber framing with rendered infill, and some painted brick infill. It has a hipped thatch roof with a brick ridge stack positioned to the left of center and an end stack on the right. The house is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There is a plank door set within a segmental pointed doorway to the right of center. The ground floor has irregular fenestration with two-light leaded casements, except for a three-light leaded casement on the right. The center has a swept dormer with a two-light leaded casement, and there are swept dormers with three-light leaded casements on both the left and right sides. The interior has not been inspected.
