Description
Brakspear's Brewery Offices, located at 84 New Street, is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with a slate roof featuring wide eaves and paired flat brackets. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, including a flat bow with three windows and a central door on the ground floor. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. An additional ground floor window has been enlarged and features a reeded architrave. The door in the bow also has a reeded architrave with a flat bracketed cornice and an altered fanlight. Inside the door, there was originally an arrangement of steps leading to an inner door on the reverse curve, which has since been modified. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 84 to 88, Nos 37 to 43, White Cottage, the Malthouse of Henley Brewery, Nos 51 to 55, Wattle Cottage opposite, and No 29 Thameside.
