Description

37 New Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick featuring grey brick headers and red rubbed window arches. It has an old tiled roof with bracketed eaves and stands two storeys high, with one window that includes a three-light sash with flush frames and glazing bars. The entrance consists of a panelled door with a moulded arch, sheltered by a flat hood. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 43 (odd), White Cottage, the Malthouse of Henley Brewery, Nos 51 to 55 (odd), Wattle Cottage, and forms a cohesive architectural group with Nos 84 to 88 (even) and No 29 Thameside.
