  1. C16 timber framed building with later additions and alterations. Street facade of colour washed brick. Old tiled roof. 2 storeys, and attic with gabled dormer. 2 windows. C19 casements 1st floor, sashes ground floor. Side elevation to Brewery Yard of brick and timber with brick infilling;- very irregular.

Nos 37 to 43 (odd), White Cottage, the Malthouse of Henley Brewery, Nos 51 to 55 (odd) and Wattle Cottage form a group with Nos 84 to 88 (even) and with No 29 Thameside.
