39 New Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring rubbed red brick window dressings and a brick dentil course beneath the eaves. It has an old tiled roof and stands three storeys high, with two sash windows. The entrance is a recessed door topped with a semi-circular arch and a contemporary fanlight.
