  1. Late Cl8/earlyCl9 facades southern half to earlier building, structurally part of same unit as Wattle Cottage, New Street (q.v.). Painted brick with old tiled roof. 2 storeys 2 windows, southern windows early C19 casements with glazing bars, northern windows late C19/early C20 reproduction leaded casements, upper one with bracketed ledge. 2 doors. Northern half later.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88 New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
