Description
Temple Reach is a late 19th-century building located on Wharf Lane. The front elevation is made of painted brick, featuring a plastered gable end. The structure is 2 and a half storeys high and has three windows and two doors, one of which has a flat hood supported by iron brackets. The river-facing side is plastered and has a tiled roof, with a gabled end that includes a fretted bargeboard. This side is two storeys tall, and the first floor has a spiral staircase leading from the landing stage to a first-floor balcony. There is a continuous strip of modern windows on this elevation, and the ground floor also features modern windows.
Temple Reach is part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88 New Street, as well as the courtyard surface behind No 88. It also belongs to a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharf Lane.
