  1. Late C19. Wharfe Lane elevation of painted brick. 2 storeys, 3 windows;- sashes with late C19 glazing. Garage and 2 other doors, on ground floor. River elevation of red brick with plastered 1st floor and slate roof. 2 storeys and weatherboarded attic with railed flat roof. Balcony at 1st floor continuous with that of No 5. 3 bay, 1st floor facade with 2 light, segment headed, sash windows flanking central door. Ground floor has 1 modern door with flanking windows and a boathouse.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88 New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
