Description

Fairleigh Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the north side of High Street in Chalgrove. The building features roughcast exterior walls and a gabled thatch roof with a brick ridge stack. It has a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The front includes a 20th-century door and two-light casements, along with late 19th-century three-light dormer casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
