Description
The Church of St. Helen features a group of two chest tombs and two gravestones located to the south of the chancel. These tombs and gravestones date from the late 17th century and early 18th century and are made of limestone. The southernmost chest tomb has an ovolo-moulded lid, plain sides, and an end inscription panel. The adjoining tomb has an ogee-moulded lid with square ogee-moulded side and end panels. The gravestones to the north are likely the head and footstones of one grave, each displaying scrolled heads with convex oval inscription panels beneath recessed skulls. The eastern stone is dated 1707.
