Description

Nos 8 to 20 on Church Avenue, dated 1830, are part of a group of buildings that includes Nos 1 to 7 Chantry House and Chantry Cottage, No 20 Thameside, the Brewery Buildings at No 86A New Street, and St Mary's Parish Church on Hart Street. These two-storey buildings are constructed of stucco and topped with a slate roof. They feature Tudor-style windows and doors, with one window each of two lights. The lower windows and doors have dripstone moulds, and the early 19th-century casements include glazing bars. There are plaques on the end wall facing Hart Street.
