Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of partly-rendered limestone rubble and brick, featuring ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high. The front has three windows, with a stone plinth, quoins, and a storey band. There is a glazed door on the left and a pair of French windows on the right, with 12-pane sashes above. The right end wall has similar windows. The render has been removed from the ground floor, revealing unrendered brickwork at the first floor on the rear and left end wall. The roof is a hipped double-span design. To the left, there is a single-storey 20th-century brick range. Inside, the main rooms feature fine panelled shutters. The farmhouse was enlarged around 1820 for a member of the Henley family of Waterperry House.
